Kundalini Yoga Bali was founded in 2016 by Savitri Devi, who is dedicated to sharing with you, empowering and inspiring, culturally sensitive Kundalini Yoga & Meditation classes, workshops, teacher training programs and retreats that is honouring the land and its gentle people. This is not only to empower and inspire you to look for the guidance of the wise teacher within but also encourage you to share your Kundalini Yoga practice with your own community. We are committed to provide you with a high standard of teaching, guidance, and support, within a supportive on site and online Kundalini Yoga Bali community.

Kundalini Yoga Bali is committed to serve everyone in the Kundalini Yoga community in Bali and Indonesia, Savitri Devi has a main focus to make it possible for the Balinese and Indonesian natives to participate in KRI certified Level One Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training programs, with tuition fee that geared specifically to the Balinese and Indonesian natives, and those in the South-East Asian region, under the auspices of Kundalini Yoga Asia.

Kundalini Yoga Bali classes, workshops and retreats can be found at several studios/centers/resorts in Ubud in particular, and Bali in general. However, our KRI Level One Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training takes place at:

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic blend of Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath regulation), Mantra (sacred sound vibration), movement, music and meditation, which will teach you the art of relaxation, wellness and elevation.Balancing the body and mind enables you to experience the clarity and beauty of your soul.

Kundalini Yoga is an effective technology for our time, as it develops the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health required to navigate the deep waters of the 21st century. Our access to information must be matched by discernment, intuition and focus. There are rapid changes and quickening of energy around us. To be able to meet these changes effectively, we need to develop grit and grace through the practice of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation. You will learn to balance the glandular system, strengthen the immune system, calm the nervous system, and heighten your capacity for creative potential. You will also gain inner vitality to compensate for the adverse effects of stress so you can excel in life.

Also known as the Yoga of Awareness, Kundalini Yoga is more a yogic lifestyle than a Yoga “style”. From the start, you are encouraged to have a daily home practice, early morning practice (Aquarian Sadhana), with various other practices such as fasting during “transitional time” (Spring & Fall), vegetarian lifestyle, boosting the immune system by drinking Yogi tea and golden milk, healing meditation during New & Full Moons, celebrating Summer & Winter Solstices.

About Savitri Devi – Founder


Born and raised in Bali, I am the first KRI Professional Teacher Trainer of Indonesian origin, and Level 3 Kundalini Yoga Teacher (expected in 2022). As a Yoga & Meditation teacher, my major specializations are Scravelli-inspired Hatha Yoga and KRI Kundalini Yoga (see list below), along with additional training in Addiction Recovery, Cancer Prevention, Children Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. My classes are student-centred, safe and holistic, suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners ready to deepen their practice. I weave the physical and philosophical aspects of Yoga, with daily spiritual practice, making this ancient wisdom accessible for today’s lifestyle.

I have been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 1999, teaching since 2009, and teaching at KRI Certified Level One Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training programs since 2011 in Toronto, with Sat Dharam Kaur ND; since 2016 in Bali, with Dr. Haridass Kaur Khalsa PhD; with KRI Immersion in Bali & in New Mexico in 2018 in Bali again in 2019; as well as with Kundalini Yoga Asia in 2020-21; and the South-East Asia & Australia 2021-22 (both are “hybrid”, on-site & on-line programs.

Also an interdisciplinary teacher with 35 years of teaching experiences, I have taught in the public education system in Indonesia — At Commerce Polytechnic University in Bandung & STIA Tanjung Pinang; and at Holistic Health Practitioner program of Seneca College’s Continuing Education in Toronto, Canada. Previously, I was School Administrator at Vocational ESL School, with a consortium of the US Save the Children Federation & The Experiment in International Living. Prior to that, I was with the Resettlement Division of the UNHCR Field Office at Pulau Galang Refugee Camp.

Other than being an educator, I am a Yoga & Wellness retreat leader, certified as a Holistic Health practitioner, Life Coach, Breathwork & Ice Bath facilitator, Labour & Postpartum doula, and Reiki Master Teacher. I am passionate about inspiring others to make life-affirming choices, and inspiring them to find their own gateways to wholeness (Sat Nam).

Online Class

Kundalini Yoga Bali has been providing online class, live streamed via Zoom from Ubud, Bali since the start of the pandemic last year.
